I am using an Eaz-Lift R6 ReCurve. I like it because it has adaptive sway control and it auto disengages when turning sharply. Pulling a 2600RB with a 2007 Tundra 4WD SR5 Double Cab. No issues with sway. Might feel passing semis a little bit, but not excessive at all. Been in high wind and the sway control took care of it.

Same here on the equalizer. I use the nylon pads under the bars which results in quiet operation.

Any concerns about adding too much angle to the hitch head? I guess as long as you don't exceed 8 washers it's not a problem with the Equal-i-zer hitch?
If your approaching 8 washers this may be a good indication you need higher capacity bars. I'm at 6 and I already need to raise the trailer fairly high to slip the bars into place when loading up. It rides very nice with this setup.

To pull our 18RBE with our Nissan Frontier have a Fastway E2 6000 lb hitch. It is easy to set up, allows for sharp turns and backing up. It has reduced both sway and rear sag. It was $535 installed over a week ago at Meyers in Syracuse.

we use an Equalizer. It is sooo much better than the J bar and chain on the old trailer. But I've been wondering about the Anderson hitch. Anybody have any experience?

I have an equalizer with 1,000# bars. My dealer set it up with 4 washers but the manual says 5 washers minimum. After getting fully loaded for camping I readjusted a few times and ended up at 5 1/2 washers (5 normal washers and one thin washer).

I imagine most hitches need readjusting after getting loaded for camping. Readjusting the equalizer is really easy you just need some big sockets and a 250# torque wrench.

I'm happy with drawtite. Used on 5000 lb work trailer and on 6000 Keystone and now on the imagine 3000 bunkhouse. Never a problem. Pulled with Ford and Chevy diesels 2500 and perfectly happy. 80000 miles at least.

We pull our 26RLS with a Hensley Arrow. It's a little pricey but makes sway impossible.
