New Vent Choice
I am researching vents and am down to a couple of manufacturers, Maxxair and FanTastic. I would like to get some opinions on either one with regard to form, fit, function, as well as reliability. Also I wanted to find out from the folks that have made the change in the bedroom if there is 12v available at the vent. I thought there might be as it is pre-wired for air. But it might just be 110v. I would appreciate any input. Thanks!!!

I'm familiar with the Fanastic Fan Create-a-breeze and have had good luck with them. As far as wiring in the bedroom vent, I posted this before in another thread...
"I had a Create-a-breeze power vent fan installed in the bath before we picked up the camper. I just recently stole the original fan and switch and installed them in the bedroom vent. It's not much of a fan, but I think it'll work adequately plus the price was right...free! When I removed the vent surround in the bedroom, there was a bundle of 12V wires cabled-tied together. The orange/white pair was switched power for the overhead lights...the pink/white pair was unswitched 12V power used for the optional A/C. The fan works...we'll have to see how well on our upcoming trip."

Thanks Dave, I thought there might be power there, and I do now remember your post. Whatever I decide on I will start with the vent in the kitchen due to the fact that then factory one just doesn't pull enough air. If this works great then i will most likely follow that up in the bedroom. My thought is that this will be more practical and cost effective than a second AC unit. I also plan to install a Vortex upgrade in the bathroom to get more moisture out faster.
