    Assuming you have a black tank flush port you could've used it to record how many gals (39) you put in it.
    On the fresh I guessing you have 2 38 gal tanks. Stick it on the city fill hose and turn on the kitchen faucet and let it run until you get 39 gals. Do the same for the shower.
