Check out Glenwood Canyon Resort. We haven't been there yet so I can't offer an opinion but have a week booked in June.

    Try rvparkreviews.com

Reviews from our fellow campers who have been to a park. They report Glenwood Canyon Resort overpriced and not so good. Julie n Kevin might want to check those reviews.

Colorado has a lot of great rv parks, but you have to be careful to select the good ones from the mediocre.

Cherokee State Park in Colorado Springs. Stayed there for a week...Very nice and clean with great views. Mountains are directly behind you and overlooks one of the air force bases. You can see for miles from the campsites.

Is that Cheyenne Mountain State Park in Colorado Springs? I would recommend this one.

BBB--what part of Colorado do you plan to visit? Do you like to be near towns? Fishing? Hiking? Horseback riding? Mountain views? On a lake or river?

    Southwest Colorado
Durango makes a good base. Alpen Rose RV Park and Durango Riverside Resort & RV Park are both good. They are a few miles north of Durango.
Great drive north of Durango on 550 to Silverton and Ouray. Very twisty roads in places. Wonderful color in Sept. from the aspens.

Northeast of Cortez and Delores on 145 is Priest Gulch RV Park. Also on a river. Downside: hills east and west so sun sets early and up late. My wife did not like it for that reason. Can drive north to Telluride for a day trip.

Northwest of South Fork is Creede. New, large rv park. No trees, on flat land, gated. Had to cancel my reservation there last summer because of the fire near South Fork.

    Northern Colorado
North of Steamboat Springs is a great state park -- Steamboat Springs State Park

West of Denver in the mountains
Top rated park in Colorado is Tiger Run RV Park. Near Breckenridge. Also had to cancel my reservation there last summer so I have not been there, just reviewed their web site.

If you go to Lake City, rent a jeep and take the drive over the mountains to Silverton.
