How long did you wait for delivery?
Hello everyone.
After a few weeks of visiting dealers, comparing features and build quality, we decided on a Grand Design Solitude. It was ordered today and DW is already getting impatient. Just curious, if you have ordered one about how long did you wait for delivery.
We were told 6 to 10 weeks. We have always taken a car, truck, boat and rv off a dealers lot so this is our first experience actually ordering. I can wait and do not look forward to transferring everything she has so loving loaded over the past few years. I only know the day we pick it up will be the hottest, wettest and windiest day of 2014.
Thanks for any feedback

Welcome Chris and Debbie. We ordered our Reflection in early February, and received it at the end of March. Looking at the calendar, it was 7-1/2 weeks. Congratulations on your new purchase. Don't forget that on the day you pick it up, there will be hail, lightning and tornados too!

Our solitude was ordered mid march and we took delivery friday. Took about 7 weeks. This is the busy season though so it will probably be closer to the 10 weeks.

Ten weeks. Oh the horror!
The DW will drive me crazy by then. I am not sharing that with her.
Thanks for the replies.

Hiya Chris & Debbie and welcome to the forums! Congrats on your purchase.
We actually purchased our Solitude off the lot. Our dealer had just gotten our 305RE on the lot the week we saw it, and it was just what we wanted, so we had no wait
Your wait will be worth it! Solitude is a well built, beautiful RV.Renee & Bill -- Central Louisiana

mtpocket. Congratulations on you purchase. I have always ordered my RV's so that way I get it the way I want it and not settle for things that are missing. It will go by very quickly and before you know it you will be camping in your brand new Solitude.

The wait was brutal. I am not a patient man. Now that we have it is was sooooo worth it.

I am told it will be at the dealer next week. Five weeks wasn't bad. Now the real work begins transferring everything. Crossing fingers and toes that we get a good one.
