New Solitude 344gk, Actual Weights and initial thoughts

My fan switch was under the cupboard above the desk. We had to get down on our knees to see the controls. The installer must have used a screwdriver to poke the wire hole so I attached the bracket to cover it. Now the switch is visible. Although it would look better on the pantry side wall. As for the fridge flap. Ours was rubbing on the bottom and wouldn't engage properly, causing the right side door to not seal. We would have to manually pull the flap so the right door would seal. All minor issues! Still love our Solitude!

Got it! Will verify my fridge is good.
Our fan control was mounted on the pantry side wall, very easy to see / use. I'm surprised yours would've been mounted in that manner. That's awful... The inconsistency is even more surprising.

There are many things I'm doing to improve for my own sanity, but I think she's a great unit!

Only real issue we have is the fowed facing window on the slide will not open.

Add washers to bottom doors on refrigerator to fix flap problem. Move kitchen fan switch. I mounted mine on a heavy duty L-bracket. Adjust tv height in living room.

Please help. Our flap on the fridge (344GK) does not close all the way. I don't understand how washers on the bottom will fix it. It looks like I need to move the "flap track" out but doing so would mess up the gasket contact on the door. Help!! PLEASE!

The flap is mounted to the left side door. Adding a washer to the bottom hinge will raise it enough for the flap to snap into place. Until then just remember to pull the flap back until you fix it. And as an added observation, the left door doesn't like alot of weight, even after the fix!

But just looking at it it seems that the flap catch needs to move out and not the door up. Am i looking at it wrong?

The flap sits in a cradle. When the door is closed pull it back until it is flat to the cradle.

We found adding a 4" memory foam topper to the mattress really helps a lot and makes it more comfortable.

Here you go, about a 15 min job and will absolutely fix the flap issue.
My fridge is a Norcold 2118 so probably the same one you and thousands of others have. Total cost less than $3.
