Customizing Cargo Storage Area
Recently purchased a 305RE and am looking for any ideas on how to customize the cargo storage area.
1. In addition to Tupperware storage bins, any other ideas?
2. Any suggestions/concerns about attaching items to either the front or rear wall of the cargo area?
3. Any suggestions on a hanging bracket for a television in the cargo area?
The storage area is so big, I have given thought to moving my mother-in-law into it; only problem is I would then have to take her with us!

we mounted our tv using the bracket listed in another post. i assume you can search it. I installed "D" rings from Lowes on the floor (ceiling of garage) joist tubing with rivets. I spaced these about 6" apart on the first three. I then installed some "D" rings on the floor directly under the upper ones. this allows you to thread straps through them and hold chairs, tables and your totes in place against the walls. Just FYI the floor is wood covered with the rubbery surface. I also use the ceiling "D" rings to thread a small bungee through and hold my fishing rods in place.

Allen - when I screw into the floor of the cargo area, I assume I need to be careful to not penetrate the rubbery surface. Any idea what the maximum length of any screws could be going into the floor? If I screw into the front or back walls, do I need to worry about hitting electric, water or hydraulic lines?
I really like your idea of the D rings with straps between them.

i used 3/4 inch screws on the floor with no problems. i assume there are "joist" under the plywood that allows clearance. On the wall toward the front of the unit I bolted the TV bracket with 1/4 carriage bolts after i added a 3/4 " plywood piece inside the storage compartment. I think they were 2" and I placed two of them in the area that holds the extra LP tank. the other two were to the left far enough to avoid all the lines in the generator area i n our 369 rl. I didn't screw into any other walls. Hope this helps you. Any more questions just ask. allen

cargo storage ideas 369RL
Here is a few pictures of what I have done for storage. On drivers side, I built a wall covered with peg board to allow air circulation and put a hook system (bought at Sears) to hang items.
I didn't attach to floor or ceiling, just end walls. The other side built free standing platform and attached to wall built from other side. Notice cut out in front for a cooler. Height adjust as needed for your items. Works GREAT for us!!! If interested, I also did shelves in front bay and can post pictures.

Bill, can you post other pictures please? We will be using ours for full-time and my husband is trying to get ideas to best utilize space. Do you know how much weight this might add? Thanks!
