    Towing with the Reflection 5ver?

Anyone welded the factory hitch or added aftermarket?

What are you referring to as "factory hitch?" The pin box? The receiver at the back for bike racks? If you're talking about double-towing, I wouldn't do it with a Reflection due to the size and strength of the frame members.

It would seem that at least one Reflection 150 series has been delivered with a factory "hitch" including wiring and safety chain attachments.
    See https://www.mygrandrv.com/fo...itch?highlight
Unless this was done by a dealer before the sale of a new unit .

2019 Reflection 5th wheels now have chain loops and a 4 flat wire connection at the hitch.

Still only rated for 300LBS of tongue weight.

I have been towing behind our 303rls since day one. We had a 3000lbs hitch install before the trailer was ever deliver. We order it that way. We tow 1800-2000lbs behind it. Did all this because we were tired of pulling a 43 foot toyhauler every where we went. So now we can leave 14 feet at home when we dont need it.

My 2021 Reflect 28bh has an actual towing hitch from the factory, 300# tongue 3000# trailer. I pull a 16' tandem axle aluminum trailer with a 4 seat rzr. According to Grand Design no warranty concerns.

I did reinforce the factory installed hitch. 3+ years towing, 19' bass boat, with no problems.

For towing you would have to have the hitch reinforced and a place for safety chains to be secured. The hitch on most of the Reflections is really there for a bike rack, storage tray, etc. I'm not sure that it could handle the vibrations and up and down motion you get while towing anything else.

Have seen one break loose on another brand of 5th wheel. It was not a pretty site the driver was very lucky that the trailer decided to go right into the field instead of left into the on-coming traffic. The trailer and golf cart was nearly unrecognizable after it came to rest.

Not according to Grand Design. It is an actual towing receiver hitch. 300 pound tongue or 3000 pound total trailer. With safety chain loops.
