DH noticed some staples sticking out from under the slide area when he ran his hand under there to get something. Could those staples be scratching the floor. We tried to bend them up to prevent any damage. Be careful running your hand under the edge. (slide without carpet)

We just completed 23 days in our new 2014 reflection 337. One of the issues we noticed was that the slides are leaving marks on the flooring....no gouges or real damage yet, but un-sightly to look at. I was glad to hear that it can be adjusted to eliminate this issue. It will be going to the dealer in the next few weeks with several issues on our punch list....guess it's to be expected from a new unit, as long as they are willing to address the problems.

I can see the problems with the slides now. I dropped a battery out of the tv remote and it PROMPTLY rolled under the slide. Had a helluva time getting it out of there. I can only imagine other things that will get under there,,,,, umm like some of Cooper's (our golden retriever) toys, bones, antlers, etc. OK, I'm going to obsess about it now!!! Thanks guys,,,,lol -

That was a concern before we purchased. Some kind do wipe strip at the bottom would be a very good idea to keep things from getting under the slides. I believe this will be on ongoing issue with the hard floors. Little rocks and pebbles, utensils, dog toys, matchbox cars, bottle caps, hair thingamajigs, mouse traps and other misc debris getting under there is going to tear up a lot of stuff.

Wouldn't it be great if they would make an Rv with no carpet at all! So much easier!
