That is very nicely done. Although I can't see the wife letting me mess with "her" pantry.

Thinking of installing the hand crank model in my rig, closer to the wet bay (installed from the top of the storage bay DS) but unsure if this is doable from a leverage perspective (Man the 50amp is a wicked heavy cord). Anybody tried this over the powered model?

haha.... I know what you mean. But that bottom part isn't accessible anyway. And my wife loved it when I modified the shelving so she could fit more "stuff" in the pantry.

I really like the install but my wife would not give up one inch of her pantry. It is one of her favorite things about our 310.

Actually it might only take maybe 1 inch from the bottom shelf.

I actually gave my wife more room in her pantry by removing the middle shelf and replacing it with 2 shelves made from close rack wire type material. She picked the heights of the shelves and is a happy camper. This is the thread where I described that mod.

Alternatively, have her wrestle with that monstrosity of an electric cord once or twice and shell gladly give you some pantry space!!!! haha - just kidding.... safe travels

We did the same on our 375 with the Glendinning reel. I raised the bottom shelf 1" for clearance for the cord.

SO much nicer not wrestling that cord! I was a little worried about it rolling up in the middle of winter but it worked out fine even below freezing

Small request, could you fix the link the Valterra Hatch Cover, the URL starts with "http://https://www.amazon.com" and doesn't work when clicked.

Looks good and I understand the benefit but on my last trailer I took out the factory 30amp cord that was pushed inside when not in use because the cord with a hole in the side of the trailer was a perfect place for bugs and ants to gain entry into the camper. I liked the option of having a removable cord with no route into the camper so I removed the door and replaced it with the twist style plug.

I stuff a dryer sheet in both holes where the cord enters and where the hose enters. So far, so good.
