Suspension / disc brake upgrade - trying to gain perspective

I realize this post is old but I have a 303 rls and am wanting to do axle upgrade and disk brakes. Did your 303 come with 5,200 lb axles? what did you upgrade to? Can you tell be a bit about the left side spring mod? I assume its to compensate for the heavier kitchen slide out.

This is an ongoing issue with the 303. It's been a bit but suggest you start your own thread here .
We added a leaf too accomodate the heavier side of the 303.

Alan - Yes, Rob's (as with all 303s) come from the factory with 5200 lb. spring packs/axles. Rob actually replaced the 5200 lb. spring pack with 6K spring packs on the street side due to the side imbalance as you shared. He shared more details in other threads as I recall. Rob is a retired Engineer so his decision to do this was well thought through.

He also replaced his drum brakes with discs himself. There is another thread dealing with this as well. Using the search feature, you can find those if interested.
