Pairing your iPhone to your stereo

Has any one figured out how to pair your iPhone to your Estone stereo? Having troubles here..

On our packaging for the Estone manual there was a 4 digit code written in sharpie. You have to input that code into your phone and it works great. We found that you can only have one device at a time paired with the unit. In other words if you want to pair another device you must physically unpair the first one.
Ours works great!

We are having trouble connecting, when I hold the phone to the radio it says conning but then quickly goes to BT NONCON and my phone say not paired make sure your device is in mode. Never even get to the part to put in the code.

A bit of a pain! I turn the unit on after I am ready to pair then push mode to conning it works.
