    Personally I’d rather carry less “stuff” and be able to use solar... versus smelling the fumes and hearing the noise of a generator.

    Traveldawg, you might want to check into venting your tub. From the reading that I have done, AGM batteries still have to be enclosed and vented.

    This is from a quick google search:
    "Even though AGM batteries are considered to be maintenance-free, they still require venting. If you overcharge the battery or charge it too quickly for the absorption mat to keep up with, the same dangerous build-up of hydrogen gas can occur."
