    Toilet Paper for RVs

I hear all the time we should only use special RV toilet paper. I have found that the Walmart Great Value Single Ply toilet paper works great in our RV and is very inexpensive. As soon as it hit the water it breaks down completely. It works so well I have begun to use it at home for our septic system. When draining the Black Water Tank you can't even tell that the paper is in the tank. Just a great way to save money.

That's really good info. The special RV paper is quite expensive and sometimes hard to find. I'll give this a try.

We use regular toilet appear and use a diaper genie instead of putting it in black tank. Works great.

    Steve & Cill,

I see you have the same camper as we do. Looking to get the Pullrite Superglide hitch. How do you like the Pullrite? Did you get the super rails also? How long is your truck bed? Do you have enough clearance between cab and camper? Sorry for so many questions, but I really like what I am reading about the Pullrite Superglide. Thanks!

    Johnny,

We are very happy with the Pullrite Superglide. We have the short bed, 6.5ft, but didn't get the super rails, we have the standard rails.

After our very first trip, I don't even give any thought to making turns forward or backing the camper. The Pullrite works just like it is suppose to, keeps the nose away from the cab of the truck. The only thing that takes getting use to is having the truck almost dead straight in line with the camper to hook up or unhitch. You have 16 degrees of play, but that's not a lot.

We have used whatever brand as long as it is septic safe. Haven't had an issue in 10 plus years.

Simple test of toilet paper. Take a few sheets of paper, put into a glass jar, add water, put lid on jar, shake jar. Does it fall apart? If so, good to go!
