There are a few threads with several posts and some with pictures on this question. If you search various iterations such as estes or Rocky or Rockies or Rocky + Mountain + National + Park you will learn about the limited options for RVs wanting electricity (and maybe water/sewer.) There are also some federal/state parks for shorter RVs with and w/o electricity as well.

Here is one of the estes search threads link: https://www.mygrandrv.com/fo...ighlight=estes
Here is a thread titled Rocky Mt. National Park: https://www.mygrandrv.com/fo...ighlight=estes

Don't forget to search the various sites for Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park along with various regional opportunities where you may be going......considerable information on the web or ordering the old paper materials.

LC - that looks like a nice park on the way to RMNP. Do they have full hookups or just electricity or ?

What size rig? There are 6-7 in Estes Park outside the National Park. We’ve Stayed at Paradise RV twice. Its small but cosey hard to get into. Stayed at Jellystone last week it’s ok if you have kids, we had our grandkids. Spruce Lake is nice Especially if you can get on the river. They have a KOA not far from town. All are very close to the entrance of the National Park. Estes Park Brewery has the best craft beer around.

Elk Meadow is right at the east entrance of RMNP. Don’t forget to go up Fall River Road to Endo Valley Road. Endo Valley Road is one way going up to the Alpine Visitor Center. Beautiful drive.

You could come back the back way down through Durango and then to ABQ to catch I 40 east. If you can bypass Denver to the east. If you want to take the scenic route stay on 287 out of Amarillo to Limon.and I 70 You then can jump on 79North out of Bennett to bypass Denver traffic. Keep and eye out for the buffalo ranch just north of Bennett.

A couple of years ago, in the spring, while heading home, we took that route from Amarillo to Limon. We left at five in the morning from Amarilo because of major snowstorm moved in along I 25 and all along the front range. Major rain until we got to the Colorado border and the snow started. I thought we never get home it was a little bit Hairy. I 70 depending on the day is not too bad and only backed but moving, westbound from about the airport to downtown.
