Check the track for any exposed screws or clips. Should not have happened. ON my old unit I had the sliding window shatter too. Repair man found a trim screw that was too long projecting in the sliding channel. He ran his finger around the channel to find it - OUCH

Just happened to us. Wife slid the window open and it hit the stop and shattered. Sounds like a defect.

Going to use Plexiglas as a temporary while dealer works on getting this submitted as a warranty claim.

    What were your resolutions?

I've found that some of the windows don't lock when you close them. The temptation is to slam it shut harder. Better to remove the lock and adjust it. The lock is held in with only a single screw.

Repeated slamming could contribute to the fragility of the window.

Just had this happen to our less than one year old 367BHS. Window over theater seats. Shattered into 1000+ pieces while opening with a very loud noise followed by the tingling of glass everywhere...

Is it possible to just replace the sliding window or must the entire window be replaced?

Possibly - depends on the local glass shop and what they are capable of.

My bad. GD is sending a replacement. Not sure if the entire window unit or just the sliding part. Removed both plastic slides hoping this will leave enough room for the sliding window to pop in. Once in, reinstall the plastic sliders top and bottom...

Make sure the track is clean and does not have any burrs or sharp points anywhere. Tempered glass is very strong, except impact of any kind on the edges. Take a few pictures of the install - others would appreciate it.

Mine have difficulty locking, so I close them a little harder. Not good. I’m going to try what @TheLexx mentioned above and see if I can make an adjustment.

PS - We do like the sliders better than the frameless that was in our previous trailer. They only opened a few inches at the bottom. The sliders let in more air.
