Will do. Taking out the slides helped get all the residual glass out. The window shattered about the point I got to the stops. Will investigate further. Thanks for the advise.

GD provided a complete replacement window. Thanks GD. As always outstanding customer support.

I first tried to just replace the sliding glass section. Even with the plastic sliders removed, there isn’t clearance for the sliding window to be removed from the frame.

Completely removed the existing window per videos on the web. An easy process.

Installation was a bit more complex. There are plastic spacers on the sides and bottom that help position the window in the opening. A key step is to ensure the screws engage in the slot on the window frame glass side thereby avoiding the glass and tracks.

Overall, not a complex process.
