what is best back up camera

I posted earlier about our Furrion not working, so we are going to order another camera, since we leave in 3 days for 16 day out west vacation. What is a good one besides Furrion that is compatible. Thanks Steve & Tara

I ordered from amazon the 4ucam with the Furrion adapter plate. It was $259.99

Happy to say Amazon is replacing our Furrion even tho it is past the return time limit!! We will see how this does, if same thing we will return then go with a different one. Thanks for your replies. Tara

x2 on 4UCam. Also Tadi Bros makes good equipment and they also make a Furrion adapter and power adapter.

I got one of the 4U cams a couple of weeks ago and installed it on my trailer. I tried to use it this past Sunday and it has nothing but a grey blob on the screen. The camera has water in it so I can not recommend the 4U cam. Also I tried it a few more times while on our trip to see if it cleared up and it loses signal frequently while driving. It will go from 3 bars to lost signal in a matter of seconds. Makes no sense how it does that.

Congrats, this may be the last you have to write about it.

Our Furrion Observation camera with 4" monitor worked fine for a year and was still working fine when we replaced it in January with the Furrion Vision S system with 7" monitor including two side cameras as well as rear camera. All have worked well through 4-5 months of travel since. The Vision rear camera image is much improved over the Observation camera, side cameras about as good as the Observation, so not as good but very usable.

For me, Furrion has not been a bad name.
