Thumbs up 2 lights over the kitchen island

Just wondering if anyone is having issues with the bulbs constantly blowing in the 2 light fixtures over the kitchen island? We have now replaced them each two times and I don't want to change them again. We replaced the first blown bulb on our very first trip out. Took us 2 days to find the correct bulbs. Once we replaced it, the other one went out 2 days later, then the other one 3 days later and then the other one 3days later....... Now they are both blown and I am not replacing them again.... I know something has to be wrong with the lights or the wiring. I love those lights but the bulbs should last longer than a few days. Now we just don't use them....both bulbs are black and will stay that way until I get it to the dealership.

I replaced mine with LED bulbs and have not had a problem with them in 6 months. Just make sure you get the right bulb with the correct contacts and brightness you desire. The LED bulbs are a little more expensive but seem to be working great. Good luck!

We bought the LED bulbs linked below. Perfect color match for the original incandescent bulbs.

I have also had trouble with the lights over the kitchen sink. I put LED bulbs in there and one of them blew after about one month. I was really unahppy about that because they are expensive. May have just been a bad bulb the other one seems fine. Guess I will try one more and if I have a problem with that will have it checked.

I put the same lights in mine. I goofed and got the cool white instead of warm white but we can live with it. It actually looks kinda neet. Been using them for over 6 months with no issues. Got some single post bulbs for the little lamp on the wall and the porch and flood lights as well. All working just fine and I don't hear the inverter fan kick in each time I turn them on.

We haven't had trouble with the bulbs blowing--we have trouble with the fixture itself. It will stay on for a few minutes and then go completely off. Come back on-then go back off. I guess there may be a short in the fixture or it gets hot and turns off. Anyone else had that issue?

I would suspect a loose connection. Ours started to come loose on our first trip. They are a little finicky. I took our apart and tightened everything up. No more wiggle, and rock solid in the fixture.

I just ordered a set of the warm whites! Here's hoping they work better.
