Gary,
Notice u have a 385 pulled by a 2005 3500. No issues with weights? I have 2007 Dodge dually auto 6 speed, 6.7L & looking at toyhaulers. Weights on the 380 and 385 seem to be too heavy. the 355 would be ok. Just curious.
Sam
PS I like the new 380 and we have 2 B. terriers...Otis & Curly

On my 303 the sewer storage is in the rear tube bumper with a vinyl pop in cap on each end. At our first stop on vacation I did a walk-around and noticed one of the caps was hanging on by a thread. I pushed it back in and it was fine the rest of the trip. Has anyone come up with some way to make sure they don't pop out? The only thing I can think of is to silicone one cap end and put some kind of strap across the other to keep it in. I really don't want to get somewhere and find that my sewer hose is looking like a anaconda laying across the highway hundreds of miles behind me freaking some poor driver out. =========:

I bought some replacement caps at Camping World many years ago, they push in to lock them in place. Have a hole in the middle to put your finger to pull out. Worked great for over 9 years, after I lost one of the originals the very first year. The stinky hose never did come out and I was towing about 2000 miles that trip.

My husband drilled a small hole in the bumper and we put a 1/32" (plus or minus) steel heavy rod/wire to fashion a pin to go through the bumper and the top of the caps. Works great. (Actually saved the pins from our previous trailer)
