    Sewer line storage

When I picked up my 385 my dealer didn't say anything about the storage tube under the rear of the momentum. I discovered it yesterday and found the door on one end of the tube is missing ( which may be why my dealer never mentioned it). I was wondering if there was also suppose to be a hose in there? Can anyone tell me if they got a hose or not. Thanks

No hose was in mine. Call your dealer to send you a cap for the other end.

No hose in mine. My dealer didn't mention the tube either. I discovered it a few weeks ago putting jacks under the rear of the unit to stop the rocking.

What did you get for jacks, we have just noticed ours sort of rocks also. Didn't notice it at first but now feel it now that we are using the garage area as a family room.

Sorry to change topics, but is this rocking after employing the leveling system? We just ordered a 380TH and assumed the 6 point levelers would keep the unit pretty steady. Where would you need to locate jacks? Thanks.

    Gary,
Notice u have a 385 pulled by a 2005 3500. No issues with weights? I have 2007 Dodge dually auto 6 speed, 6.7L & looking at toyhaulers. Weights on the 380 and 385 seem to be too heavy. the 355 would be ok. Just curious.

I use a screw style jack stand on top of blocks. Camping World sales a set.

Yes, the rocking is after using the leveling system. The leveling system does a pretty good job stablizing, but the jacks stop that last little annoying wiggle of the unit. I don't think the leveling system is really designed to completely stablize, only to level the unit. The leveling jacks behind the wheels are too far forward from the bumper to prevent all the movement.

You could also install a set of scissor jacks. I have a seasonal campsite, so my unit doesn't travel. The jack stands were fine for that situation.

My 385TH is stable as stable gets with my 6 point. Even when I am loading my golf cart in the garage my wife said that our trailer moves less then our old Coachman 320BHDS did last year. Do you put a pad under each of the pads before you deploy the jacks? I was on grass this last weekend and I use a 2x8x12 under each pad before they are deployed. Let me tell you these units are more stable then any other jack style system is!!

I have 4" thick concrete blocks under each pad. And my site has a gravel pad for parking the unit on. I had to level the blocks because the gravel pad is sloped side to side. Let me tell you, that gravel was like trying to break up concrete. The ground the unit is on is stable.
