150 series height

We measured our 230RL last weekend. Sitting level in the RV Port. Measured at 12 feet 2 inches with the high point being the bathroom vent. Going to measure it hooked up one of these days and see if it is any lower.

Then I guess it is safe to look for anything 13' or more as a safe height for 230RL's while traveling

Not many tunnels in Texas (none I can think of) and I have never driven through one pulling a trailer so when we drove through one today that was 13’6” I almost had a heart attack!

Do you have a vent cover installed over your bathroom vent?

No we do not have a vent cover.

Checked the height while hitched. Bathroom vent, bathroom skylight, and bedroom vent, all about the same height at 11'-9". Anything under 13' will certainly get our attention.

That’s weird, my roof is curved so all 3 are at different heights.

Fellow RVers, I find it puzzling that in postings related to maximum height, no one considers the height of the truck, specifically the installed height of the hitch top plate. Many hitches have a variance of 4" or more, and suspension changes to the truck have an effect. Also in our case we have a pinbox with an air bag so it changes things also.

I would assume that the manufacturer specs refer to a RV that is sitting level. Mine sits nearly perfectly level and is no where near the GD spec of 11'9"
