I pulled the interior cover and saw that my baffle was also pushed forward at the top by about 30 degrees and there were air gaps around the top of the baffle. I streightened the baffle and foil taped all four sides. Can't really test it today as the temps are pretty cool right now but will test it more when the heat comes. I suspect the baffle either gets installed wrong by Atwood or is moved somehow during assembly/installation. Thanks for the description and pics. Really helped a lot.
You're most welcome. I don't like taking my coach back to the dealer for service because you never know when you'll get it back. Anytime I can figure something out and repair it, it's a good day.

I don't yet own a GD, but after a year of lurking just paid the $12 as the forum just keeps getting better. It also loads much faster than the ad supported iRV2 forums that I like.
And once I found out that Dave takes bribes, I was in! LOL!

Jim, I was not able to get the baffle straight up and down. Did you trim yours? I taped mine up and it seals the hole but it is still at a little angle.

found the same tonight. I hold the sleep button and it seems to read about ten degrees under what the actual temp is inside. I have everything sealed tight and its still doing this.

You baffles can be right and your a/c running perfectly, but if you're camping in the hot southwest and in the sun, the inside is not going to be very comfortable.

I live in the Deep South, and unless I'm under a thick forest I'm not going to be close to comfortable in the Summer. We're looking at 98 degrees today with high humidity. My next purchase is going to be a second ducted a/c unit for the bedroom. We already run floor fans constantly for air movement.

One thing to add. Slide toppers make a huge difference! Keep the sun off of the tops of your slides.

x2 on what JustinThyme Rob says. The slide toppers are a huge thermal break for the tops of the slides.
