    Theater seating moving around

Our Reflection 337RLS is still fairly new (purchased Feb. 2018) and it seems each time we pull the theater seats move around more and more. The dealer told me they are not supposed to be anchored to the floor. I'm just wondering if that's the truth or they just trying not to deal with it?

It may depend. Our 2014 303 from the factory had the rear couch anchored to the floor of which we removed the metal "L" brackets. The theater seating was not anchored. However, after the factory service center visit last month not only was the couch re-attached but the theater seating was as well. Now both free to roam the Serengeti once again !

Ours moves around quite a bit. It knocked off the wooden side of the window covering and now it's in the shop for warranty repairs. Will be interesting to see if they just fix the window or actually anchor the chairs in place (preferred).

Our theater seats are not anchored. The only time they really move is when putting the footrests back down while standing up. I'm thinking about screwing some wood blocks to the floor just behind the front frame member to keep the unit from scooting back. I like being able to move the seats out to vacuum under them periodically.

If you screw anything to a slide floor, make sure you look underneath the slide for any protruding screw tips, before bringing the slide in. The slide floor is only 5/8" thick and a protruding screw will tear the main flooring when the slide comes in.

We opted for swivel rocking recliners when we got our 303. When set up we pull them out to the edge of the slide to be able to use them. When traveling I push them to the back of the slide cinching them up tight. No movement at all when traveling.

Yep. I was going to pull a screw from the base of the dinette table and measure/calculate how far into the floor those go. Minus the thickness of the wood blocks and carpet, I don't want more than about 1/2" going in, though. I saw the thickness of the slide floor from the end when the technician was doing our repairs this spring...

Mine are screwed down but the 2 screws kept coming loose so I added 2 more they are 1" and I made sure they would not go through the slide floor.

Both the sofa and recliners were anchored with tiny ell brackets, one screw per leg, screws were loose. I replaced them with larger brackets, 2 screws per leg and used the same size screws.

Vacuum under the recliners? What a concept!
