I also love my SuperDuty duty. I'm finally getting it ready to put it into service pulling a Reflection 323BHS after 12 years of towing a Waverunner. My 7.3 may not be quiet running, however it's got a lot of personality with a 80 hp tune. What I like about it best is not having that $950 per month payment.

We've been out of town today, and I noticed a Chrysler/Dodge/Ram/Jeep dealership without the dealership name. They had a canvas banner with the name--which tells me it's been a revolving door of ownership. The New Chrysler Corp. still has problems with dealers maintaining profitability, and their dealerships are just not in every small town or retail market.

I still like dealing with a high quality, stable dealership, and my local Ford dealer is rated #1 in the U.S. in customer satisfaction. And I also like that Ford's parts are cheaper and more available--both new and used.

Yeah this thread got off path a little bit!!! The OP buys a 2015 Chevy and everyone starts saying how much they love their Ram and Fords.

Oh well, I just traded my 06 Ram Cummins for a 2011 Duramax, so much more power, cab space, options and drivability then the Ram. To the OP hope you have many trouble free miles on that beast!! I get about 9-10 mpg towing my Momemtum, and about 18-20 empty I run 65 mph max towing and about 70-75 unloaded.

2014 Ram diesel is 880 ft lbs of torque, not my first diesel but will be my last. 11 to 12 mpg towing a 303rls and 21 hwy mpg and not broken in yet, have only 2000 miles on it.

Kordog - the thread just took off and everyone hopped on.

Eaglehead - unless you have done some modifications the RAM has 850lb/ft of torque for the 2014 model. Ford has published 860lb/ft for 2015 so they claim to be the leader.

As for my original post - I am pleased with my Silverado 3500HD DRW. I have put several miles on it in front of the Momentum 385TH which for those of us that have one, know how heavy they are. We pulled ours from Kansas City to Grand Lake Colorado. The truck did awesome through the mountains, both uphill and downhill. Plenty of HP and Torque and the exhaust break is first class. Can't beat the Chevy!
