Stop over location in Northern Indiana

Hey all, I'll be heading north to Michigan next week and we are looking for a good place to stop and have lunch and let our 3yr burn off some energy. We have used Grissom Air Museum the last few times but looking for something different this time.

So if you know something in this are where we can have lunch (picnic or purchase) that has a play ground or other child friendly actives please post your ideas.

Indiana Dunes State Park is nice. Have a beach right on Lake Michigan and an area for picnic facilities (provide your own food). On a good day can see the Chicago skyline. Only about 2 - 5 miles off 94 and 80/90 respectively

Thats not a bad option. We normally use 31 to go north but its only like 20 min longer to go up 65. We are from the Cincinnati Area and headed to Holland Mi.
