Yikes!!!!! I would've never made this, Jim.

I kind of wish the Reflection line had the low profile A/Cs. The Atwood AC adds another 13 inches I believe. I have to have and additional unit in the bedroom.

    Hi Steve and Connie,
Just wanted to say hi as we just noticed you are from Lodi and we are neighbor's. We haven't many others from CA. I have yet to see another GD on the road, my husband has seen a couple, but I'm still waiting. I know they are out there somewhere! Anyway, hi!! LOL

    Hi Jeff & Cathy,

We're from CA. too! We've only been on one trip so far to Bullhead City, AZ and saw our first and only GD in the campground. Met the owner and she had a great idea to deal with the glass insert in the dining table. She removed the glass and installed small ceramic tiles. It looked great and solved the problem of the glass lifting up.

We like Jackson a lot too. We actually were there for Thanksgiving and will be again this year. We like Costanoa and Olema a lot too. Most of our trips are 3 or 4 nights for now since only one of us is retired :-) ... Also Chowchilla is pretty cool if you play golf, two free rounds for every night you stay, well you have to pay $15 for the cart but it's a nice course. Hope to run into you, it would be nice to see another GD.

Hey guys, we live down the road near Modesto. We've only seen one other Reflection as we were headed to Three Rivers near Sequoia. We checked out Jackson Rancharia CG a couple of months ago, it looks great, little pricy though. Hope to cross paths with you at some point.

I try to use the regular car pumps for diesel. It's been my experience that where the big rigs fuel up is always covered with diesel, both on the ground and the nozzles, then I have to hear it from my wife when I get back in the truck because of the smell. I also have a 90 gallon auxillary fuel tank and tool box combo in the bed of the truck. This reduces the number of fuel stops, plus I like it because we spend a lot of time in the mountains where fuel prices are generally much higher then on the interstates.

Hi Jack and Marlene, Jackson is very relaxing, has a great pool and very quiet. About 50 bucks a nite unless you have a casino card, then about 43 bucks. Well worth it if you don't want to travle along way. I want to try the Chowchilla golf Resort Jeff and Cathy was talking about. Im not a great golfer but I have a lot of fun. We will probably run into each other somer where around the valley.

    Safe travels

I have a 91 gallon aux fuel tank on my Dodge Dually and yes, it is like filling up a boat but I luv not having to make frequent stops. But, when I do I also have the Flying J/Pilot Creit Card and I have no problem pulling in next to truckers. I have never received the "stink eye" from any of them. Always been friendly.
Logistically, when I get to my stop and do need to refill I take just my dually to the station.
