    Front compartment floor pan welds

I was installing bal stabilizers on front landing gear last weekend and noticed a buckle in the metal floor pan by the battery. Looking closer there was 2 welds the let loose. I fixed myself by drilling 2 5/16" holes and installing carriage bolts and caulk it with silicone. I don't know if this is a common issue or not but you 303 owners might want to check yours for broken welds.

Thanks for the heads up. We'll pay closer attention and look around in there. We'll be getting ready for a week trip soon and will look then.
