Going to save that link for when we need to shop for furniture. We usually just get residential but with the odd setup in our 395 we might have to go with something similar to stock.

Please post updates as time goes on.

    Thanks for sharing

I was going to suggest to them that there will about 400 GDRV owners at a rally just down the road in a couple of weeks . . . many of whom might be thinking about replacement furniture . . . do you have a contact at RecPro who might be interested?

Rob, I spoke with RecPro today. I explained the situation, and they're having a guy named "Matt" give me a call for more details. As soon as I hear from him, I'll pass it along.

Hi Jim - Thanks for the follow-up. I will PM you with my email and cell phone. RecPro should be able to cross reference these with my email from a few days ago.

So Rob, is your furniture breaking down? Our furniture is 3 1/3 years old and very heavily used and not a flaw to be found.

    Hi Paul,

The "fake leather" surfaces of our furniture are still fine (touch wood). The "structure" underneath leaves a lot to be desired. The seat areas of the recliners are sagging outboard. More so mine than Cates . (Little guys like you probably don't have this problem .) The rear couch has never been really comfortable . . . either as a couch or as a bed. We have looked at some aftermarket RV furniture . . . that is more expensive than residential furniture! The RecPro prices on their website seem to be a lot more reasonable. I would certainly like to try (and examine the structure of) the RecPro products before buying.

Okay, I hear ya. I never sit or sleep on the couch so there's that. Our grandsons don't seem to mind it. I do like the look of the RecPro but I can't see spending the money without need. I always read these complaints and am always hesitant to ask why people complain so much. Maybe I'll understand at some point but I've been lucky so far.

Ours is 4 & 1/2 years old and doesn't show any wear yet either. Marcy did reupholster the dining chairs with extra padding to make them more comfortable. Like Rob we have had complaints about the couch when made into a bed.

Rob, did Matt ever reach out to you?

Separate discussion, but I just got notified that 2019 Forest River Riverstone Fifth Wheels are dropping the Thomas Payne Collection and going with Praxis. Don't know anything about them, but that's a big step away from LCI. Good to see that some manufacturers are apparently listening.

Hi Jim - Never heard anything from Matt (or anybody else) at RecPro. I guess they are too busy to be interested in the 400 GDRV products just down the road with their 800 owners . . . many of whom are considering new furniture options. .

Amazing!... (was apparently too short of a message, so I've added this wonderful color commentary in order to respond)
