    375RES Slideout Control

Apologies if not the right section, but my question is about installing a shutoff/control valve on the kitchen slide.

On the 375 1 switch extends/retracts both the kitchen & dining slides. It's hit or miss which slide extends/retracts 1st. While traveling if you want to access the fridge, extending "slide 1" opens both slides. My thought is a manual shutoff valve attached to the manifold line that would shutoff the kitchen and only allow the dining room to open enough to access the fridge if in a tight spot like a rest area. The manifold is easy access in the front storage, the question is which line to install a shutoff valve in.

I don't see this being used that often, but it sure would be handy while travelling. Any one done this yet, or have ideas?

Usually there is an isolation valve in the curb side propane compartment or front compartment.

The valve has two knobs. Turn one in and it stops the slide it is connected from moving. These aren’t marked as to which knobs controls which slide. Takes some testing.

    Yep, you already have one.

Open the door side LP door and look against the back bulkhead. Should see 2 knobs.

I have a early 2018 375res. I'm not seeing these 2 knobs in either the curb side propane compartment or the front compartment. Do you have any picture of what I should be looking for? Thanks

It did....I have one of those "yahoo". Now this is going to sound stupid. I tried to push, pull and turn. They don't seem to want to move. Before I get carried away and break something "How do they work?"

They turn. Clockwise and counter clockwise.

There have been valves in place since 2015.

They might be tight. As Hunter said …. clockwise to close, counter to open.

Yep carnolddsm and huntr70 were right, in the curbside propane tank compartment just above and slightly left of the tank was the valve. First look the knobs don't look like much, and yes they were very tight, but after double checking the shafts had threads I was able to make them turn. And waalaa, I tried both a couple times, just because I was excited (doesn't take much these days LOL) This was just what I was asking about. Thanks guys!
