A house and workshop is a symbiotic relationship. If you have the former, one definitely needs the latter to keep the former from rotting into the ground.

Motivation to Sell it All
We couldn’t see paying $1200 a year to store a bunch of crap that wasn’t important enough to make the cut of “stuff that’s going with us in the RV.”
The fact that we can’t even remember all the “stuff” we got rid of means it wasn’t that important to us anyway.
I had a garage full of tools and toys and spent a lot of my free time in there. It’s funny how quickly you simply pick up other hobbies.
Spending the last 7 months sitting in places like this 7 days a week makes it easy to say “what garage?”

We live on some acreage near Tucson in a truly beautiful spot even if I do say so myself. We have no desire to give up our home to go full time. But what we do have is a desire to be out of Tucson for July and August and do some boondocking and 7-10 day trips throughout the year. Our 310GK is making that possible for us.
From our patio...
@DaveMatthewsBand - maybe we can visit for a few minutes at Quartzsite. I would like to check out your solar and get a little advice about mine.Jeff and Jen

Another alternative is to get yourself a deeded RV site somewhere. Many will let you construct a shed or workshop, and it gives you a solid place to come home to. It may take a while to find the right one for you, but they are out there.

Motivation to Sell it All
Of course! The only time I ever open the front compartment is to show it off to someone.
This is our first time in Arizona. We are really digging the landscape. We actually visited with a realtor yesterday, thinking about buying 50 to 100 acres here somewhere so we have a place to go in the winter. (And all our friends can have room to spread out)
