Just installed the LoadLifter 5000 kit (89289) on my RAM 2500. dual manual plumbing. Been chasing leaks since. Tightened up the Schrader values (that helped). Also, via soapy water, found slight leak at the bag valve. It's a lot better, but I have an ever so slight leak on both bags where over night it's down 2-3 lbs. I'm planning to run the truck at 7lbs un-loaded so that loss is a PIA. Anyone having slight air pressure loss?

We don't have the Air Lift suspension but we do have Air Safe hitch. If they use the same air lines you could be having the same problem we did. Tried everything and still always had a slight leak. Called Air Safe and it seems they were having a problem with the air lines themselves. They sent us the new airlines which were heavier and came with all new connections. Been working fine since.

Whew! I just finished installing air lift 5000 plus; A “2 hour” job that took almost 7! No bubbles appearing from leak test - I’ll be checking regularly.

That’s one job that’ll be easier the second time!

I teflon taped each of the stainless connections and that seems to have solved the issue.

Yup, I found that as I take the weight off the truck the airbags would start to inflate (after a short delay) to compensate. I now always turn off power to compressor so it won't keep airing up when disconnecting.

I'll also start to release the air prior to unload. Is there any risk to the bags airing them up with a load on? thinking this is the same concept - I have to lift the pinbox pretty high now...
