Recliners
Has anybody had trouble with their recliners across from the tv in the 369RL moving while they travel? Mine ran into the window and I found out they are not bolted to the floor? There is a frame they sit on but it moves and is not physically attached to the floor. Hit some rough roads going cross country.

Debby, we have a little over 3000 miles on our 369 and the Theater Seats (Recliners) haven't moved yet. I had no idea that they were not bolted down until we lost the Sound Bar remote. I started looking for it under the Recliners and noticed that I could move them. We have moved them out away from the window a couple of inches more so that when we recline they don't hit the window.

That's strange Steve and Debby. The theater seats in our 305 are bolted to the floor and do not move. I wonder if that's a change that came about later on as GD made more and more units.

Maybe so Renee. Our recliner sofa is also not attached to the floor, how do I know you ask! Youngest daughter lost her cell phone and I had to move the sofa to find it.

Our Theater Seating Recliners have one screw in the front frame. I had to replace one of the recliners is the way I found out.

If you're planning on lagging them down through the chair frame to the slide-room floor be very careful of the length of screws that you use. If they penetrate through the floor they'll damage the lino first time the slide comes in or out.

Good point Dave! I like being able to move ours so I don't plan on attaching ours to the floor.

Our recliners across from the TV were definately bolted down. It sometimes takes quite a "kick" to lower and lock the foot rest, so much so that the bolt snapped! Put in a new bolt, being careful as suggested so it wasn't too long. Anyone know if there is an adjustment on these recliners so the kick doesn't send it through the side of the rig at some point??!

Ours have gotten easier to close over time. It seems the more we use them the easier it gets.

The recliners in my 305 had a strap and one screw. They pulled the screw on first trip and have been moved into the middle of the rig each trip. Plan to have rv dealer install tie down bracket to prevent movement. Hasn't yet, but could cause damage.
