Yep, was looking for some pictures on the beach I took a while ago, the dirt parking at the end of Palomar airport. You know the spot...nice ocean view from there.

This is a belated entry. I got tired of driving the truck whenever I needed more than two seats, so back in August my 981 got a German sister named "Blue." She's one of the last Golf R's with a manual transmission (VW is reportedly dropping the manual for the 2020 R). I figured I'd get another manual while I still could since future cars are destined to be automatic and/or electric. Blue has about 7K miles on her now and they've all been great. I highly recommend the GTI/R to any enthusiast that needs a fun & practical runabout.

Thats one sweet Buick. I just love cars from the 50's So much chrome and class. These new cars have nothing. They all look the same. Back in the day you could tell by the sound what kind of car it was. Mopar had a distinct starter sound. You knew it was a Mopar. Now they look the same and nothing is collectable except a few specially made limited production cars. I don't even thing GM has anything like that. I know the Corvette but they will make as many as the customer wants so not a limited number from what I hear.

I have as my daily driver, a 2015 VW Golf Sport wagen SEL, TDI, with a Malone tune. That thing is a fabulous car. 38 MPG average and it is the most fun to drive, Torque out the butt!!!
TDI is diesel FYI. Part of the "Diesel Gate" mess.....It gets 47 MPG on the Hwy. Pretty good after getting 14 with my truck!!!!
