Beautiful car Hemijoe. My brother had a buddy who owned one when it was new. I believe it was white and it was super fast. he lived about 2 blocks off a main highway and he out ran the highway patrol several times and could be back home and in the barn in time to watch them on the highway looking for him.

Ladies and Gentleman - all great rides!! Thanks to all for keeping the hobby alive and well!
As a hobbyist restorer all my life, and having my own professional restoration business for 15 years, I can appreciate the love and dedication to the rides of yesteryear. At one time my Wife and I owned 5 restored or restifide vintage rides, 39 Chrysler Coupe, 66 Charger, 70 D100, 74 Dart Sport and a 93 Stealth. OK the Stealth was really a mitsu. Obviously we are Mopar, mainly because most of our family worked for Chrysler at the transmission or diecast plant, But we appreciate all vintage and classic rides. For a couple years when the Mecum auction was here in Austin, the Wife and I helped drive the vehicles across the auction block. That was a lot of fun!
Going fulltime this year we have finally brought our herd down to our last one, the Dart Sport 360, mainly because it is like the very first car the Wife and I had starting out 42 years ago. We are not sure what we are going to do with it. Store it, give it to one of our grand children or sell it. We look back fondly at our years owning vintage vehicles and participating in the hobby.
Keep them alive and well!Last edited by Steven@147; 02-18-2020 at 08:15 AM.

GM guy back in the muscle car days but when a buddy pulled up in a new '66 Satellite red with black interior and powered by the street hemi I was impressed. He had the torsion bars cranked up in the front and was running the Indy 500 wheels which were popular in the New Orleans area back then. The car sucked up the gas but who cared at 33 cents for premium. This Plymouth was one of the nicest street cruisers in our town.2018 Grand Design Solitude 377MBS
