Tankless RV water heater
Has anybody installed a tankless water heater in their GD fifth wheel yet? If so, do you like it?

With my previous RV, this was an option we really considered.
However, with the Solitude, there has not been a need as of yet.
We have plenty of hot water for 2 showers, dish washing, etc. The hot water heater really seem to keep up with demand.
This weekend, we are traveling to the Purple Hull Pea Festival in Arkansas. My daughter and her husband are joining us. I'll let you know how the hot water heater handles the demand when 4 of us need showers!Renee & Bill -- Central Louisiana

From what I read on the other forum I belong to is that a lot of people aren't very happy with the way that the tankless WH works...at least the Girard unit that they install in the Wildcat units.

I think it's important to run a fast, hard flow through your shower. Adjust the nozzle for a trickle and the hot won't work that well.
I just prefer to keep things old school.

I'm not an expert but there are a whole lot more complaints about tankless water heaters than there are compliments. Two old sayings come to mind when deciding on issues like these...KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) and "If it ain't broke don't fix it." But, that's just me.

OK remdenver, Update:
The purple hull pea festival was fun! Tiller races exciting...crazy, but exciting
The water heater did a great job keeping up with the 4 of us. There was very little down time. We (all 4 of us) could easily take 4 showers and get ready in the mornings.Renee & Bill -- Central Louisiana
