    Entrance door piston hinge damage

I don't know if other model lines use piston hinges on the exterior door, but my 399 uses one for the rear door. I noticed today the bracket on the door side was pulling away from the door and one of the screws now free spins. I attempted to tighten the screws and 2 of 3 tightened just fine, the middle screw had removed about half way out of the hole. I removed the piston to prevent further damage. I suspect the piston used was too strong for the application. It's worth noting we don't use that door except when loading or unloading to travel somewhere which isn't too often. That door is designated as an emergency exit for the kids since the garage is their room.

That was the only logical solution I was thinking, probably with a nut and bolt or it will keep elongating the holes in the door.

I had the same thing happen on the rear door of my 399TH except mine came out at the body of the trailer not the door.
