We sat in a week of pretty hard rain storms the week we picked our 303 up, and the only moisture we saw was in the groove in the rear window. Now mind you, we had our dealer put on slide toppers prior to us picking it up, primarily for sticks and leaves but no rain infiltration yet.

Come to think of it - my rear window has had some moisture in the bottom groove also during heavy rains.
Mike/Debbie - Do you know what brand of toppers your dealer installed? I am considering installing some and would like to know what others are using and how satisfied they are. Seems to me they might help reduce heat especially with the two large slides.2018 GD Reflections 337RLS, 2021 Ram 3500 Cummins 4x4 CC w/auto level dually, TrailAir pinbox, B&W Companion hitch, Fold-A-Cover Tonneau

We were in several days of heavy rains with our 337 a couple of weeks ago. Both towing and set up with the slides out. The only issue we had with water was from the back window when towing. The back window weep holes are too large on our back window and water got all over the inside of the window, back of the couch and floor. All the other weep holes in the windows have smaller openings than the ones on the back window. We have several minor issues with ours, but nothing major. So far we love it.

We had our dealer install Carefree brand slide toppers. This year Carefree added Black as a color choice. I like it from an appearance and cleaning stand point. Just remember after a hard rain to run the slide in cause rain collects on the topper.

Think ours are A&E. Work perfectly. Had them old rig and would leave dealer lot without them on this one. We use our rig four seasons and it makes a world of difference in not only keeping leaves and other debris from the inside but ice snow rain hail all slide off with ease and nothing gets caught in the seals or brought in via the slide. Don't have to brush anything of either. Worth every cent.

On my current trailer I made out of PVC pipes 2-6 ft, 3 tier setup and I slide them under my slide topper on each side. My 42 inch slide out is 12 feet long.I did the slide in and out thing once and I then made my fix. Now when it rains it runs right of the topper. During travel I leave them on the bed on top of a old sheet. When my 303 comes in I will make a setup for the big slide-out. Or use the one I made if it fits. I have a post-it note sticking right above my slide in and out button to remind me to make sure they have been removed. Been working great for 2 plus years!

This is a big concern - does Grand Design not put units through a test for leaks prior to sending them out? Other manufactures (such as our current Jayco) does this. Could someone from GD address this issue please?

What diameter of PVC did you use? Or do you have a pic?
