Swapping sofa bed for recliners in 28bh

Has anyone successfully swapped out there tri fold for a recliner sofa? I have measured and looks like the Thomas payne sofa will fit. But before spend that much money was curious if anyone else has done it without any issue.

Are you looking to go with the theater seating that has heat and massage? If so, you'll need to have a way to get power to it. I'd like to do the same thing but haven't pursued it.

Mostly just want the recliners but if I could get power I will get them.

I have looked into them already but there 58in sofa recliner sits deeper then the Thomas Payne. Im not sure it will fit my space.
Maybe I will give them a call and let them know what Im working with.

First thing I did before we hit the road was to remove the sleeper sofa and put my Ekornes chair in. My back has never been happier.

You could probably fit two of them where the wide sofa goes. Our sleeper sofa is in storage in case we want to sell or trade the RV.

Me too!! I miss the heated recliners in the Imagine! The dealer even offered to switch them over to the 28bh but I didn't pursue it, may call them and see what's involved.

I vote for the stressless recliners in place of the two cushion sofa unless you ever need that sofa to sleep on. Since the tv is not ideal for both booth occupants and sofa occupants at the same time, the stressless recliners will allow you to cant them towards the tv.

OTOH make sure you measure the depth of the chairs (you may have to turn them) to allow for the slide to come all the way in.

I may eventually go the route of the stressless recliners myself. Those things are so much more comfortable than than any couch.

Not the same trailer but ours came with the couch and the recliners were an option. We had them swapped right at the dealer before we took delivery. Never looked back.

So if the 28BH had them as an option in the brochure, they should fit. Otherwise follow everyones advice here and measure.

Check behind couch and see if there is a duplex 120v outlet, there was in ours even though we had the couch. Chairs plugged right in.
