I haven't had any problems with leaks in the shower but I have a squeaking shower floor. Every movement in the shower causes the floor to squeak.

Hubby caulked along the front and back of the shower door rails yesterday. Worked very well but what I found this morning though is up rail does not go all the way across the floor of the shower, there is a quarter inch gap. Water will catch in the rails and it did drip slightly because of the gap, he did not think to caulk it. Once we dry it out again he will caulk that area and on the other end just in case. I also noted that on the outside if you don't stand in the shower the caulk is tight, stand inside it's not. There must be some flex. Inside where it counts it is tight for us.

Hubby proactively caulked along the cabinet base and floor in case we ever leak again. We want to increase the time it takes for water to reach under and start to swell the cabinet.

One think they say you should always do when you calk a tub or even a shower is to make sure the area is loaded. Example, if you're calking around a tub you should fill it with water first. If you don't then when you do load it the calk will pull away.

In this case you want the shower loaded. The problem is that you really don't want to stand in the shower until the calk drys so you'll need to put sand bags or something like that until the calk drys.

Great call on calking around the floor to keep water from getting to the wood.

Mine leaks there also, the seal between the door and the tub is leaking, just some new silicone and that took care of the leak. Funny thing too, the shower only leaked when my wife was showering, and she is a lot smaller then me.

I caulked the inside of the shower along with the inside of the rails on the end, still leaked. Had the dealer take a look at it and they caulked the outside of the shower, still leaking. GD needs to get to the bottom of this please.

    Hi Jim (@campinfool),

It appears then that we are down to the glass panels. Please contact our Customer Support team to let us know when your Reflection will be at your dealer so we can ship a shower door assembly ahead of your appointment.
