    New day new problem.....

On our recent trip to Colorado I noticed this during a change over from city to fresh water while I was draining tanks. After I was finished with that I switched back over to city and I heard water running through the plumbing. I do the regular checks to make sure the interior faucets were turned off, etc. They were. So I wait and sure enough the fresh water tank overflow starts to dump.... I poked around for a check valve around the pump and all I found was a inlet filter which I checked and it had some plastic debris in it (I assume from the build process). Is there a check valve located someplace that I'm overlooking?? Could there be a piece of this plastic in the Anderson valve??

damn I'm getting tired of this...

    Kevin

PS the new refrigerator worked great and no more LP gas leak.

I took the 4 way valve apart and found a cut o-ring. Since I'm pressed for time, I will visit local RV store in town and see if I can get parts to fix this. In the meantime, perhaps GD can send my a new valve??

    Call your selling dealer...

    Warranty will go through them.

Did they do a PDI and system check before you took the coach home?

Image of valve failure. I'm going to call GD direct this morning. I get faster service this way.

The repair parts are on the way! Grand Design support is second to none!!

All in all we are very pleased with our 303. Fit and finish is great.

Regarding some of the issues we've been having. They have been taken care of in a timely fashion. I'm in the auto service business and car makers have little control over the parts and assemblies they are provided with to build cars. RV's are much the same way. Manufacturers try to use the best parts available within their price point. Sometimes new parts fail. It's why they have a warranty.

We also have a fresh water leak somewhere - traveling to Alaska hasn't allowed for us to stop anywhere to have it fixed. Question - did you replace all the wet insulation under the rig after you repaired the leak? We were planning on stopping in Elkhart on our way across the country and have them do the repairs.

Julie N Kevin: We also have a fresh water leak somewhere and sounds like the same problem - traveling to Alaska hasn't allowed for us to stop anywhere to have it fixed. Question - did you replace all the wet insulation under the rig after you repaired the leak? We were planning on stopping in Elkhart on our way back across the country and have them do various repairs. Was just explaining it to the husband and he has no idea where you found the valve. Is it too much to ask for a diagram or description of where and how you located the problem? Also, with the wet insulation should it be replaced? Thanks

    Hi Larry & Mollie (@westie0506),

Remove the felt panel board for access, and check the back side of the utility center box... the valves are located behind the turn handles. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact your dealer or our Customer Support team directly at (574) 825-9679.

    Best regards,
    ~ Janice
