I have the progressive industries and it seems to work great. Easy to use.

Has anyone installed the built in Progressive unit in an Imagine trailer? I do like the idea of having it inside, not on the power pedestal.

We have a Progressive unit in our Imagine 2600RB. Mounted it behind the fuse/circuit breaker box under the cabinets. The install went smoothly and Progressive provides great instructions.

We purchased a Transcend 28mks which is 50 amp service. I've been looking at Progressive Industries EMS-PT50X and Surge Guard 34950. Has anyone had any experience with either and any recommendations would be appreciated .
    Thank you very much.
I have the 30 amp version which saved me from burning up my AC unit from low voltage this past summer during a heat wave. Once the EMS shut down, I began reducing the electrical load by forcing other items (hot water, fridge) to gas and was able to salvage the trip to keep my AC on while protecting the rig. Best money I've spent in RV accessories.

Awesome. I will get into the fuse box area and see how I can mount that. Thanks for the info on where to mount it.

Newbie question, I have a EMS PT50x......can this be used when power supply is 30 amps, or do I need a separate PT30x?

Yes it can. You just need an adapter that has a 30 male (post) to a 50 female (EMS). I do it all the time.

Looks like best price is on Amazon, $329. Anyone find a better deal?
