It's been over a month since I posted here and almost two months since I reported this issue to my dealer. I have not heard a word from my dealer or GD.
I have had very few problems with my Solitude and although this issue is not a mechanical problem that keeps me from using the rig, I believe it should have been addressed by now.

We have addressed this issue on the forum previously, indicating it is a warrantable item that should be handled through your dealer. Please contact your dealer to schedule inspection and repair.

UPDATE: My dealer's service department is unresponsive. I met some other Solitude owners in my area and they have had the same problems with the local dealer. They had a local RV repair shop become an authorized GD service center and referred me there. They got me in quickly and repaired the defect and handled all the authorizations with GD.
Kudos to Grand Design for covering the repairs even though my year warranty had expired three months ago!

We have had issues with the same service dept. It took a few calls with an area rep and GD customer service to get him to return my calls as well. Love the product, less than impressed with that particular service dept as a representative of such a great product. They need to get their act together!
