Loud Furnance

We own a 323 bhs. We are camping in Colorado and the nights are still very cold. The furnace has a horrible rattle that is waking everyone up at night. The fan motor seems fine but through out the heating cycle we get a major vibration. Comes and goes through the cycle. Any thoughts for a dyi fix? We are hundreds of miles away from the dealer. I am ready to call a moble repair service so we can sleep! Hope Grand Design would approve that type of repair.

Call GD service center. They will approve a mobile if it is in warranty and no dealer around. You may have to pay the trip charge. Good luck on getting it fixed.

Please reply when you get an answer. Our 2015 reflection 323BHS does the same thing.

Update: The dealer is replacing the furnance because it had improper venting and was getting to hot. They cut a vent in the access panel and installed a metal vent plate. They could not get the furnance removed without cutting out the cabinet. GD is sending a retro fit exterior frame so the dealer can cut a hole from the outside of the coach so the can remove the furnance. Not such a grand design... but happy it will be corrected. Temp fix for the rattle was dealer cushioned the bottom of the furnance and added the vent for better airflow. They also repaired the heat vent in the master as zero air was moving through it.
