Hot Water Heater DSI Fault

I have Dometic HW heater model GC6AA-10E that quit running on gas.

- Electric works fine
- worked fine when I checked it at home before my boondock camping trip. Of course it breaks now.
- plenty of propane
- all valves open
- stove burners and fridge working fine
- when you turn it on with gas you can hear it go through 3 cycles and then shutoff. No spark ignition. DSI fault.
- I stuck a lighter in there and heater lit for 3 seconds and then shutoff.

Had the same issue & have same water heater. Had the main board replaced under warranty & happened again on my next trip.

So I spent $12.00 on a Tstat from Amazon & 15 mins of time problem was solved.

Bought Dometic part number 91447.

Also found out, for those who don’t know:

“In 2014 Dometic purchased Atwood Mobile Products to complement and bolster Dometic's robust product line. Atwood is now sold under the Dometic brand, and the product assortment can be found in the following categories.” From their website.

I also bought the Dinosaur Electronics controller UIB64, I believe. Solved problem. 5 minutes. Probably buy a spare.
