    Lights

Hi , I am new with this.We live 2 years full-time in our Solitude and love it. Enjoy every day but I do have a question. How can I replace a light in the ceiling. I can't get the white cap off to replace or tighten the bulb.

    Hi dutch girl,

There are several different lights used by Grand Design. Can you post a picture ?
    BTW . . . Cate is also a "dutch girl" . . . so we already have a "connection" .

If it is a 6" puck light you can use a screw driver to pop the glass lens off. You may find it does not have a replaceable LED bulb and the entire unit has to be replaced. If you have to replace the entire unit then you can pry the unit out of the ceiling with a screw drive from around the outside ring. It has clips to hold it in and it may bend the clips and you may feel like you going to break something but it worked for me. I have had trouble with these lights for the last two years and GD replaced all of mine twice. It is a manufactor's defect that is well known now. They are pretty simple to replace. Just need to cut the wires and use a small wire nut to reconnect and pop back in the ceiling. Hope this helps.
