Roof leak repair

We are hosting at a campground in the Keys, and during one of the morning storms, noticed a leak around the ceiling sun light over the shower.
when I went on top, I found the sealant around the edge of the sky light was cracked and allowing water to go under the sky light.
ordered Eternabond and sealed all the seams yesterday, and was impressed at how easy the Eternabond was to install.
i didn't take the old sealant up, just covered it withe the Eternabond tape, after cleaning it with denatured alcohol.
it has rained since, and no leaks, so looks like it works pretty well.
Eternabond is somewhat expensive, $54 for 50 ft roll 4 " wide.

That Eternabond tape is some wonderful stuff! I'd recommend you find some Dicor self leveling caulk and do the edges to prevent water from seeping under the tape, just my humble opinion
