How do I add pictures to my posts?

When replying or posting select 'Go Advanced' button bottom right under the text box. You can add a photo by two methods; click on the 'Insert Image' icon from the menu above the text box which invokes a pop-up asking for the url address of the image or select 'Manage Attachments' from the Additional Options section below the text box and upload from the location on your computer.

How do you get the picture associated with your name to post? I tried paying the fee, but it still doesn't appear.

Got to settings>edit avatar. You can download your picture from there.

It could also that you're exceeding the size limitation for the avatar photo...I don't remember the limit but it's small like 200 x 300 pixels.
