    Two Grey Tanks??

We just got a new 2019 Solitude 384GK. Noticed two grey tank valves in utility bay. Neither dealer nor owner's manual mentioned have two tanks. Do some of the Solitudes have two grey tanks? Just curious.

Hi KirbyRVA - I think all Solitudes (and most Reflections) have two grey tanks. One for the kitchen and one for the shower/bathroom sink.

My 315RLTS has three gray (grey?) tanks. The third is for the washing machine. The dump valve is on the Nautilus panel.

And because I'm bored at work I had to look up "gray vs grey". According to dictionary.com: Grey and gray are both accepted in the English language. They refer to a color of a neutral tone between black and white, and can also be used metaphorically to convey gloom and dullness. However, gray is the more popular spelling in the US, while grey reigns supreme in the UK.

That would be the colour grey . . . for those of us more recently connected with the UK LOL!

Do you happen to know which tank serves which drains?

This is not always consistent . . . even on same model builds. Best to drain all tanks, close all valves, put a few gallons in one tank and pull the valves one at a time to see which one drains the only tank with water in it. Then repeat with water in the other grey tank to confirm.

Once I determined which was which , both on the monitor and the gate valve handle , I labeled them with stick on letters from HD. Not sure why I felt the real need to know but it made me feel better.

By knowing you can find out which tank fills first. If you do any boondocking you will then know where you need to conserve to get more time before having to dump.
