Hope our luck gets better!
We bought a 2015 323BHS last Friday 7/11/14, did the PDI Saturday 7/12/14 only to find a significant water leak with the bedroom slide. Dealer was to repair it Monday and deliver it to us Tuesday. Great, that would be just in time to pack it for our weekend getaway the next Friday 7/18/14. Not so great...just heard that they are waiting for a part to come in from GD, but it would probably be next week sometime before part is in and all is finished...had to cancel reservations...yuck!

That stinks, but at least you caught it during the PDI, and not during a downpour while camping.

I hope everything else went smoothly on your inspection, however.
I was looking at UTube last night about the Schwentek electric slide units, and how they're built, etc. They're pretty neat, but having gaskets installed properly is very important. They're not terribly complicated, however.

Congratulations on the purchase and and delivery. I hope it goes better for you when it's corrected and you hit the road. My experience has been good with over four months on the road and minimal issues.

The rest of the pdi was great and, yes, I'm glad it happened there and not on our trip! I will say that GD and the dealer are working to make sure the problem is completely taken care of. GD had them check and/or swap out additional parts that were probably not affected "just in case" there might be another issue. So it looks like everyone is doing a through job to make sure the leak does not return. We can schedule another trip and can even camp out at home a night or two for our little one's sake. :-)

That's disappointing news, lajones, but at least it was caught during your PDI and will be fixed to your satisfaction.

I feel your pain as I have had issues with ours as well but I think you will come to realize if you haven't already that the people at GD really work hard and go the extra mile to make things right. Cudos to J.D.Adams and Dean in tech support.
